Skyline of my Design Process

Skyline of my design process...

This is an arial view of some of the molds for wax pieces I have carved over the last 7 years. There are over 200. I
don’t keep a sketchbook, but I have a city of ideas that represent the vocabulary of my collection. For every one of
these molds there’s an influence: art, architecture, ethinic craft, textiles, fashion, nature and more. I design by making;
I seldom sketch, I just start working - that’s probably why there’s a city of molds and not just a neighborhood. I’m
not sure where I’m going when I start, but continue to work until I arrive at a destination that has some possibilitiies
for exploration.

    It is not that often that I find a designer who is a true artist.

    Your work is wonderful.

    I would like to be a part of your design world.

    I weave beads that I believe would work so well with your pendants (like cirrus) Not to replace the chains/cords that you are using…

    I liken it to adding ‘Another Arrow to Your Quiver’ to offer to your clients.

    Your beads (or not) your color choices/your clasps/my labor.

    Let me know if this idea is of any interest to you please.

    I just discovered your work. So pure and inspiring. I am an accessories designer working mostly with fiber and leather but venturing into my first casting project…your work is beyond beautiful, like suspended moments in time.

    Thank you.
