Preparing the bronze pieces in our collection is the most tedious aspect of production. Before we can assemble a finished piece of jewelry all the bronze parts must be sealed to protect them from tarnishing. The process we use is electrostatic and in order to conduct the electrical charge copper wire needs to touch every piece that's being sealed. To make this time efficient many small pieces are wired together at one time. The clusters of wired pieces in process look like Rube Goldberg mobiles and they sometimes spur on ideas for new pieces. Even the crude structures we made at the onset of learning this process are beautiful objects themselves.
