Hand fabricated bronze Secret Garden earring with sterling silver olive branch and beetle and Kyanite gemstone; 3.5 inches.

Julie was inspired by the intricate Otomi embroideries of Oaxaca, Mexico featuring floral and fauna themes. The textiles were translated into hand fabricated bronze adornments.

As a child of the 70's, Julie grew up doing a myriad of crafts with her sister, including embroidery, sewing and other textile projects. This interest continues today, as she collects indigenous textiles during her travels.
